Set, Switch Gear, Starter, Assy. RC36-2, RC30 Style

To update and improve the look of the RC36-2, RC30 Tribute,  we recommend fitting our TYWH-0010 Switch Assembly, Starter, product  This  switch gear is not directly compatible with the RC36-2 wire harness, so we have designed harness extension TYWH-0012  that simply plugs inline between the NC30 starter switch gear and the RC36-2 main harness, with no modifications to either the switch gear connections or the main RC36-2 connections required.

Note that this set has only been tested on the RC36-2 in RC30 Tribute spec. It will not fit the standard RC36-2 due to connector positions, wire lengths etc. without additional modifications.

Please see the fitting instructions for the routing of the wires and the extension harness. Note that this is only relevant to the RC36-2 when fitted with our RC30 Tribute bodywork kit and wiring.

Switch Assy, Starter Functions:

• RUN/OFF switch works as normal.
• While the RUN/OFF switch is in the OFF position, pressing the start button has no effect. The engine will not turn over and the headlights (if switch on) will stay illuminated.
• While the RUN/OFF switch is in the RUN position, pressing the start button has two functions. The engine will turn over and start, and the headlights (if switched on) will be switched off via a relay to allow full battery power to be sent to the starter motor. This is the same function as the standard RC36-2.
• The brake light switch works as normal.
